Hello, my name is Hilary Williams and I’m the art teacher here at MWMA. I am a lifelong learner and consider creativity and the arts to be a way of life. It gives me joy to foster a love of the exploration of creative techniques and mediums among our students, and I have a special love for putting together large collaborative projects such as the peace flags or the large paper murals in the elementary kivas. I have worked hard to expand our art program to reach as many of our students as I can, and to make sure the art room feels safe and welcoming to each and every one.
When I’m not obsessing over ideas for school, I love to garden, spend time with my family, and make all kinds of weird things.
