Hello, my name is Cyndi Goehring. I am thrilled to be teaching math at MWMA. My teaching journey began with a degree in Business Management from BYU. After working for two different investment firms, I realized that I loved investing my own money but I hated investing for other people. I returned to BYU for a teaching certificate. Since then, I have taught multiple grades in 4 states. Once I realized how much I loved the age group, I moved into middle school math. I moved into math because it is really about solving problems! My favorite thing about teaching math is finding just the right way to present a topic so it clicks with the students.
Along with teaching, I have also had the privilege of raising three wonderful kids with my husband. I have worked in medical transcription, insurance billing, and career counseling. My favorite job was working as a Cast Member at Disneyland! When I am not planning my next Disney vacation, I am reading, walking my dog, or Face Timing my amazing granddaughter. I enjoy learning a little bit about a lot of things – I love trivia, movies, and podcasts.
